Alkali Resistant Fibre Mesh is used as the reinforcment for render, particularly where the adhesion of the render may be suspect or where delaminating or cracking is evident, for improvement of facade thermic insulation systems by embedding into the layer of the cement construction adhesive.

Before applying the first layer of glue intowhich a glass mesh is impressed, all corners of the building and openings onthe facade should be reinforced with angle irons with an integrated glass mesh. Glass fibre improves tensile and flexural resistance, brings dimensional stability especially at high temperature, and allows a much better control of the molded part shrinkage. It is known for the extraordinary mechanical features and the mesh coated with the protective layer of latex provides long life resistance to the alkaline chemical influences.
